In 1979 Dennis got the racing bug working on
a late model, (do you believe it?) owned by Tommy Web. This picture was taken at
Sandusky Speedway we think. |

winning his first race at Flatrock Speedway in 1985. |

In 1986 Dennis broke the track record in the sportsman
division with his #90 at Toledo Speedway |
| In 1987 Dennis battled against Tommy Adams & Terry Cook
for the Sportsman title. |

In 1988 Dennis sold his car and joined Terry Cook's team
for one season. |
| 1989 Dennis was back in the drivers seat again. This
time at Flatrock Speedway driving the #10 for Hahn's Collision. |

In 1990 Dennis built this car for Rick Hahn which was
dubbed "the fastest street stock alive" by his fans, breaking track records at
Flatrock Speedway and Toldeo Speedway and setting fasttime 9 weekends in a row at FR.
The record at Flatrock held for almost 10 years till the track was paved in 1999. |

In 1991 Dennis and Tina decided to go out on their own and
built their own street stock and raced at Flatrock. #25 |
| In 1993 Dennis drove a sportsman car for Rob Martel,
finished 2nd in points at Toledo, 3rd in Michigan Cup points |

1994 marked Dennis's first year in the Ice Man Super Car
Series. A template body car division which took Dennis and his team to many race
tracks in Michigan, Ohio, & Pennsylvania. Dennis continued to race with the Ice Man
Cars till 1996. |
| In 1997 Dennis went back to Flatrock Speedway and drove a
street stock for Mick Laskey. Won several features at Flatrock. |

In 1998 Dennis drove for Jack Burnette at Flatrock Speedway
and won Rookie of the Year in the latemodel division. He also drove a limited
schedule in the Ice Man Super Car Series. |
| In 1999 Dennis won the latemodel championship at Toledo
Speedway |

In 2000 Strickland Racing finished 2nd in points at Toledo
Speedway. 2000 also marked Dennis's debut in ARCA's Bondo Mar-hyde Super Car Series. |
| 2001 was the magic year, after losing the championship in
2000, Strickland Racing came back with a vengeance winning the Late Model Championship at
Toledo Speedway, picking up the prestigious 2001 Allen
Chevrolet-Cadillac/Cintas Challenge Overall Champion
and the WVBS Driver of the Year Award. |
