September 3rd, 2011 Flatrock Season Championship Night HOT HOT HOT!!! It was 98 degrees at 2 pm. 126 degrees on the race track. At least 135 in the race car.
GOING THROUGH THE TECH LINE WITH NICK GRODI BEHIND US. NICK BOUGHT OUR LATE MODEL FROM US 2 YEARS AGO.
Going through the tech barn, Jessica and Rich at our pit. Our canopy looks good here but an hour later it was ran over by a rig, (I think it was the number 13 car), not a good start for us.
GAfter hot laps, Rich, Jessica and cliff work on the car, we had to take down the canopy, Oh well I wanted a new one anyway!!
Jay came down to visit with us, we are just trying to stay cool. They look at the radar on Cliff's phone, the storms were all around us.
Lineup and inversion. Dennis qualified fastime and had Cliff roll the dice, it was a 6. Kevin, Christina and Kaylyn Butzin come to visit us before the race. We got all the racing in by 9:00 then it started to pour. We finished 3rd in the race, 2nd in the points. More pictures later...
